Guhle will play for Team Canada at the world junior championship in Alberta which begins Dec. 26, Stu Cowan of the Montreal Gazette reports. - This will be the second straight year that Guhle represents his country at the juniors. The 19-year-old defenseman has 3-15-18 totals over 20 games combined for the Prince Albert Raiders and Edmonton Oil Kings of the Western Hockey League. Team Canada will play its first game at the tournament on Dec. 26 against the Czech Republic. |

Guhle has been traded from WHL Prince Albert Raiders to the Edmonton Oil Kings, Stu Cowan of the Montreal Gazette reports. - Guhle, Montreal's first-round draft pick (16th overall) in the 2020 NHL Draft, moves up the WHL standings from the 11th-place team in the Eastern Conference to the second-place squad. In 17 games for Prince Albert, Guhle had two goals and 13 assists. In addition to the trade, Guhle was also named to Canada's National Junior Team Selection Camp. The World Juniors are set to begin Dec. 26 in Alberta. |
