Sarah Wozniewicz was first star in the win against the Frost after a goal and two assists. Her three points matched the most by any PWHL rookie in a game this season (Casey O'Brien and Maddi Wheeler). Both of her goals this season have been game-winners, tied for the league lead, and all four of the third-round pick's points have come since a promotion to the team's top line alongside Jenner and Rebecca Leslie (4-4-8). |

Ottawa's win is the largest comeback of the PWHL season and in team history on the heels of a thrilling overtime victory over Minnesota in Chicago during the Takeover Tour on Sunday. Toronto had an opposite result in their first Takeover Tour game in Halifax, losing to Montreal in a shootout Wednesday, but have points in three straight games after a Sunday win in New York. Both teams return to action on Saturday afternoon following a short holiday break with Ottawa at home to Boston and Toronto in Montreal for the Duel at the Top at the Bell Centre. |

SEATTLE, WA (December 17, 2025) - The Seattle Torrent have won two straight games on home ice, tallying a season-high four goals on route to a 4-1 victory over the Ottawa Charge on Wednesday night at Climate Pledge Arena. In front of 9,389 fans, Seattle carried the momentum from their late third-period comeback win over the New York Sirens before the international break, led by the forward line of Alex Carpenter, Julia Gosling and Hilary Knight who combined for three goals and seven points. Gosling opened scoring on a Torrent power play with just three seconds remaining in the first period. Carpenter broke the game open in the second period with a pair of goals, coming 6:25 (PP) and 11:29 into the frame. Hannah Bilka was involved in three of the game's four goals, recording a primary assist on Gosling's goal and assisting on Carpenter's first goal, before an empty net goal of her own at 18:30 of the third period. Ottawa's Rebecca Leslie refused to let the Charge go away quietly, stealing the shutout from Hannah Murphy with her late third period goal at 19:21. Murphy turned away 24/25 shots to record her second win in two starts, the first rookie in PWHL history to accomplish the feat. She combined with the Charge's Sanni Ahola - making her PWHL debut - to form the season's first all-rookie goaltending duel. Ahola became the first Finnish goaltender to appear in a PWHL game, recording 20/23 saves. |

Charge goal scorer Rebecca Leslie on the team's offense and scoring chances: "Snake bitten is probably a good word to describe our offense right now. It would be different if we didn't have scoring chances. We're getting into the scoring areas; we're just not getting the bounces going our way. We're in the right places and eventually, it's going to come. We must keep believing in our systems and in each other. We kept pushing until the last minute and it shows a lot about our group and our character." |

OTTAWA, ON (November 26, 2025) - Brianne Jenner tied a PWHL single-game record with a four-point performance to pace the Ottawa Charge to a 5-1 win over the Goldeneyes on Wednesday night at TD Place. The Charge captain scored the team's first goal of the season -- a power play marker -- their first shorthanded 'jailbreak' goal into an empty-net and added two assists. The five-goal output by Ottawa is the highest in the PWHL through six games and is just four days removed from a shutout loss in their home opener against New York. Vancouver played their first-ever road game and suffered their first-ever loss following an opening night win at home over Seattle. The Charge built a 3-0 lead with Jenner's first period goal, a second period tally from Mannon McMahon, and a third period goal at 1:19 by Rebecca Leslie. Claire Thompson put the Goldeneyes on the board with the team's first-ever road goal and power play goal at 7:12 to cut the deficit to 3-1. Anna Meixner extended the Charge lead to 4-1 at 14:38, then Jenner capped the scoring with her second goal at 18:12 of the final frame. Ottawa rookie defender Rory Guilday and veteran forward Gabbie Hughes both had two assists. Gwyneth Philips needed just 18 saves to pick up her first win of the season for Ottawa, while Vancouver's Emerance Maschmeyer stopped 30 shots in her return to the nation's capital. |
