Jan. 28, 2026 LOWELL, MA(January 28, 2026) -The first-place Boston Fleet outlasted the New York Sirens in a 4-3 shootout decision on Wednesday night at the Tsongas Center, led by a pair of shootout goals by Alina Muller. Both goaltenders battled in net with Aerin Frankel stopping 30/33 shots and 6/8 in the shootout to edge the Sirens in her ninth win this season, tied for the league lead. Kayle Osborne reached 30 saves for a career-high fifth time this season going 32/35. Fleet rookie Abby Newhook started Boston off with her second power play goal of the season to give her team the 1-0 lead. The Sirens dominated the middle frame with two goals, one from Kristin O'Neill on the power play at 10:19, and another from first overall pick Kristyna Kaltounkova after she exploded past the defense to put New York up 2-1. The lead was the first an opponent has held over Boston on home ice this season. Second-round Fleet pick Ella Huber was unable to capitalize on a penalty shot opportunity, the first in team history, when she beat Osborne to the far side but could not finish the play when the puck slid off her stick. Boston made the most of the third period when Liz Schepers tied the score in the first minute of play, followed by a Jamie Lee Rattray power play goal five minutes later. Kaltounkova added her second of the night and league leading 11th of the season to end regulation tied 3-3. With five scoreless minutes of overtime, the teams headed to the shootout, highlighted by Muller's almost identical set of goals to lift the Fleet to a victory on her attempts in the seventh and eighth rounds. Dec. 7, 2025 BOSTON, MA (December 7, 2025) - The Boston Fleet became the first team in PWHL history to win their first four games of the season, defeating the Minnesota Frost 4-1 on Sunday afternoon before a crowd of 5,338 at Agganis Arena. The Fleet enter the international break atop the PWHL standings with 12 points, while the Frost remain tied for second place with six points after having their road winning streak halted at two. Boston's four goals were a season-high and featured two in quick succession late in the first period and a perfect two-for-two power play. Shay Maloney opened the scoring at 17:03, then captain Megan Keller doubled the lead at 18:17. Klara Hymlarova brought the Frost to within one with her goal at 3:12 of the second period, but the Fleet responded with their first power play marker just 49 seconds later. It was rookie Abby Newhook who stayed hot with her third goal in as many games at 4:01 of the middle frame, set up by Keller and second overall pick Haley Winn, with both defenders producing multi-point efforts. Theresa Schafzahl scored the Fleet's second power play tally at 3:01 of the third to cap the offense. Aerin Frankel turned aside a season-high 26 shots for her league leading fourth win of the season. Maddie Rooney also recorded a season-high in saves with 31 but dropped her second straight start. Dec. 3, 2025 BOSTON, MA (December 3, 2025) - Aerin Frankel made 21 saves to earn her second shutout of the season and led the Boston Fleet to a 2-0 home victory over the Vancouver Goldeneyes at Agganis Arena on Wednesday night. The Fleet remain the only undefeated team in the PWHL and became just the second team in league history to open a season with three regulation wins. Boston rookie Abby Newhook opened the scoring just 5:02 into the game as the Fleet dominated the first period, outshooting Vancouver 19-2. After a scoreless middle frame, forward Jill Saulnier gave the Fleet an insurance goal at 6:40 of the third period, her first tally of the season. Frankel held strong in the third period as the Goldeneyes pushed back, outshooting the Fleet 13-5 in the frame. Vancouver goaltender Emerance Maschmeyer made 29 saves in the loss as the Goldeneyes dropped their third straight road game in regulation. None
