Jan. 11, 2026 This is the Victoire's first game since rookie Natalie Mlynkova was named to Czechia's Olympic roster (joining Vanisova from Vancouver) and Sandra Abstreiter was named to Germany's roster (with Vancouver's Nina Jobst-Smith). None
Jan. 2, 2026 NEWARK, NJ (January 2, 2026) - The New York Sirens stretched their winning streak to three games with a 4-3 victory over the Montreal Victoire on Friday afternoon at Prudential Center, backstopped by Kayle Osborne's 42 saves. Victoire forward Laura Stacey opened the scoring at 3:47 of the first period, but New York answered late in the frame when Anna Bargman tied the game with 3:44 remaining, spinning and firing from the slot for her first PWHL goal. The Sirens took their first lead at 3:46 of the second period when Kristin O'Neill scored against her former club, converting in the slot after a turnover behind the Montreal net. The Victoire responded three minutes later on the power play, as Marie-Philip Poulin hammered home a one-timer following crisp perimeter passing from Erin Ambrose and Abby Roque. First overall pick Kristyna Kaltounkova restored New York's lead later in the second, slipping free from coverage and burying a cross-ice feed for her team-leading fifth goal of the season. Midway through the third, Paetyn Levis extended the Sirens' advantage to two when she finished a Sarah Fillier pass on the rush. Montreal appeared to answer on a net-front deflection by Poulin, but the goal was waved off after video review for a high stick. Despite outshooting New York 45-21, the Victoire struggled to solve Osborne until the final minute, when Natalie Mlynkova tipped an Abby Roque point shot with the extra attacker to cut the deficit to one. With the victory, New York moved into a tie for second in the league standings. Sandra Abstreiter made 17 saves for the Victoire, who dropped their third consecutive game in regulation. None
Jan. 2, 2026 Sandra Abstreiter made her second start of the season for the Victoire, matching the total number of games she started during the inaugural season with Ottawa. Megan Warrener served as Montreal's backup today, with Ann-Renee Desbiens a healthy scratch. None
Dec. 22, 2025 Montreal's Sandra Abstreiter recorded her first career PWHL victory on Saturday with 27 saves against Vancouver. The German netminder spent the 2024-25 season with the Victoire but did not see any game action and previously made three appearances for Ottawa during the inaugural season. Boston's Abbey Levy earned a win in her Fleet debut on Sunday, stopping 26 shots against Seattle. It marks the first regulation victory of her PWHL career and just her second professional win all-time following a shootout triumph with New York back on Feb. 1, 2024. None
Dec. 20, 2025 Dara Greig on getting the win for Sandra Abstreiter in her first start in a Victoire uniform: "Even though this was her first game in front of the net, Sandy's a huge part of our team, and we see that every day in practice. She's always staying all day and taking extra shots, so when she was getting the start tonight, I don't think anyone had any type of hesitation. If anything, we had full confidence, and we're all super happy to get the win for her." None
Dec. 20, 2025 VANCOUVER, BC (December 20, 2025) - Coast-to-coast travel could not slow down the Montreal Victoire as they became the first PWHL team to beat the Vancouver Goldeneyes at the Pacific Coliseum, 4-2 on Saturday afternoon before a crowd of 12,127. The win extends Montreal's streak to four, on the heels of a shootout win over Toronto in the launch of the Takeover Tour in Halifax on Wednesday. Vancouver's loss was their first in four games on home ice this season. Sandra Abstreiter made her first PWHL start in 21 months for the Victoire, turning away 27/29 shots in a strong offensive back-and-forth showing between both teams. The game's first period saw just one goal, courtesy of Victoire captain Marie-Philip Poulin at 10:18. Three goals followed in the middle frame, starting with Dara Greig's first career goal to double the Victoire's lead just 1:48 into the second. Sophie Jaques cut Montreal's lead in half with her second goal of the season at 12:24, but the Victoire responded quickly with an unassisted goal from Natalie Mlynkova at 15:23 on a spectacular breakaway effort. Scoring opened quickly once more in the third with Michela Cava bringing Vancouver again within one with her first of the season at 1:07. Montreal sealed the victory with a 14:31 goal from Shiann Darkangelo, despite a strong offensive push from Vancouver with an extra attacker for the game's final three minutes. Emerance Maschmeyer returned to the Goldeneyes' net after a game away, turning aside 26/30 shots in her fifth game of the season. None
Dec. 20, 2025 Sandra Abstreiter's last PWHL appearance between the pipes came on Mar. 5, 2024 in her third game of the season with Ottawa, stopping 43/46 shots. The German netminder spent the 2024-25 season with the Victoire but did not see any game action outside of international competition. She's represented her country at five Women's Worlds, most notably earning Best Goaltender at the 2024 tournament with a .929 save percentage. None
Dec. 17, 2025 Sanni Ahola, the Charge's fifth-round pick, is expected to make her first career PWHL start. If called upon, the St. Cloud State graduate would become the first goaltender from Finland to play in the PWHL. Gwyneth Philips has started the team's last 21 games, between regular-season and playoffs, dating back to Mar. 15. Philips and Emerance Maschmeyer account for 65 of the team's 67 starts all-time, with the other two attributed to German backstop Sandra Abstreiter in 2024. None
