June 29, 2026 Kyrou was not given a qualifying offer Monday, making him an unrestricted free agent, Kevin Kurz of The Athletic reports. - Kyrou is coming off a career year in the minors, having registered 10 goals and 24 helpers in 55 regular-season contests. Selected by the Stars in the second round of the 2022 NHL Entry Draft, the 22-year-old blueliner could get some interest from around the NHL, though he may need to settle for a minor-league-only contract. None
Jan. 31, 2026 Kyrou scored a goal and added two assists in AHL Lehigh Valley's 5-3 win over Bridgeport on Saturday. - Kyrou has earned 22 points over 33 contests with the Phantoms since he was flipped in a minor-league trade with Texas in October. He's one point shy of matching his rookie-year total, which he earned in 57 regular-season games in 2023-24 with Texas. Kyrou hasn't gotten an NHL look yet, but the Flyers could give him a chance later in the season. None
Oct. 30, 2025 Kyrou was acquired by the Flyers from Dallas in exchange for Samu Tuomaala on Thursday. - Kyrou was a second-round selection, 50th overall, in 2022. Perhaps the change of scenery will do wonders for his game. None
Feb. 2, 2025 Kyrou was loaned to AHL Texas on Sunday. - Dallas activated Mason Marchment (face) from the IR list and returned Kyle McDonald to the minors in corresponding moves. Kyrou didn't play for Dallas during his NHL call-up, sitting as a healthy scratch in Friday's 5-3 win over the Canucks. He has four goals and 13 points in 26 AHL outings this season. None
Feb. 1, 2025 Kyrou was recalled from AHL Texas on Saturday. - Kyrou is expected to make his NHL debut Sunday against Columbus. Kyrou was selected in the second round -- 50th overall -- in 2022, and he had four goals and 13 points in 26 AHL games before his recall. None
March 8, 2023 Kyrou signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Stars on Wednesday. - Kyrou was selected 50th overall in the 2022 draft. The defenseman, who is the younger brother of Blues winger Jordan Kyrou, has racked up 67 points over 56 games between OHL Erie and OHL Sarnia this season. The younger Kyrou has solid instincts in the offensive zone, but he's likely a year or two away from NHL consideration as he'll need time to refine his defensive play, which will slow his rise through the ranks. None
