| Sept. 29, 2026 | Cormier (undisclosed) will begin the 2026-27 regular season on the injured non-roster list, per SinBin.vegas. - Cormier was a limited participant throughout the Golden Knights' training camp before he ultimately appeared on injured reserve Tuesday. The 24-year-old blueliner wore a red non-contact jersey when he did skate, and his placement on IR will keep him out of action for at least the next seven days. He was highly effective with AHL Henderson in 2025-26, where he compiled eight goals and 47 points across 49 regular-season games. He should be involved with the Silver Knights in a similar role once he's healthy this season. | None |
| Sept. 17, 2026 | Cormier (undisclosed) will wear a non-contact jersey to begin Golden Knights' training camp, per SinBin.vegas. - Cormier underwent an undisclosed procedure in the 2025-26 offseason and will wear a red non-contact jersey to start Vegas' training camp. The 24-year-old blueliner had a productive year with AHL Henderson last season, where he compiled eight goals, 39 assists and 121 shots on net across 49 regular-season outings. While he appears to be an outside shot to make the Golden Knights' roster, he'll battle in training camp while looking to recover from his surgery simultaneously. | None |
| July 6, 2026 | Cormier signed a one-year contract with the Golden Knights on Monday. - Cormier earned his newest contract after the strongest offensive campaign of his AHL career. Across 49 regular-season games with AHL Henderson, the 24-year-old blueliner compiled eight goals, 39 assists and 121 shots on net. He produced when it mattered as well, adding five points in six postseason appearances. White he's yet to play regular minutes at the NHL level, he'll return to Vegas' system as one of the top defensive options to be called up if the Golden Knights run into injury problems. He has one assist over two career NHL games, which came back in 2023-24. | None |
| Feb. 21, 2026 | Cormier registered three assists in AHL Henderson's 4-3 win over Abbotsford on Saturday. - Cormier is now a point away from matching his career high from his rookie year (2022-23). He's been great for Henderson lately with two goals and 12 assists over his last 12 contests, getting on the scoresheet in 11 of those games. Cormier has seven goals, 27 helpers, 96 shots on net and a minus-2 rating through 35 appearances this season. | None |
| Nov. 29, 2025 | Cormier notched three assists in AHL Henderson's 7-4 loss to Bakersfield on Saturday. - Cormier is up to four goals and 13 assists over 18 games this season, though he's picked up the pace with a goal and seven helpers over his last six outings. The defenseman's strong play comes at a good time, as the Golden Knights have just six healthy blueliners on the NHL roster. They start a road trip Friday, and they may be interested in calling up a defenseman, likely Cormier or Dylan Coghlan, to provide emergency depth if Jeremy Lauzon (undisclosed) remains out. | None |
| Oct. 26, 2025 | Cormier scored a goal on two shots and added two assists in AHL Henderson's 5-2 win over San Diego on Saturday. - Cormier has four points in six games after this big performance. The 23-year-old blueliner didn't get the call-up when Noah Hanifin (lower body) landed on injured reserve, likely because he wouldn't have been guaranteed ice time in the NHL. Expect Cormier to spend most of 2025-26 in the AHL as the Golden Knights look for him to improve on the nine assists he had in 19 regular-season outings last year. He missed most of that campaign due to an undisclosed injury. | None |
| Sept. 27, 2025 | Cormier was put on waivers Saturday, Jesse Granger of The Athletic reports. - Cormier contributed nine assists in 19 regular-season outings for AHL Henderson in 2024-25. If he clears waivers, he will report back to Vegas' top minor-league affiliate. | None |
| July 8, 2025 | Cormier signed a one-year contract with Vegas on Tuesday. - Cormier registered nine assists in 19 regular-season appearances for AHL Henderson in 2024-25. The 23-year-old defender will probably spend most of the 2025-26 campaign in the minors. | None |
| March 11, 2025 | Cormier (undisclosed) was activated from non-roster injured reserve and assigned to AHL Henderson on Feb. 27, per Mathieu Sheridan of The Hockey News. - Cormier has one assist in four minor-league outings this season. The 22-year-old defender had one assist in two NHL appearances with Vegas in 2023-24. | None |
| Oct. 8, 2024 | Cormier (undisclosed) was put on non-roster injured reserve Tuesday, per Danny Webster of the Las Vegas Review-Journal. - Cormier produced four goals and 20 points in 58 regular-season games for AHL Henderson in 2023-24. Once he's healthy, he will probably return to the minors. | None |
| Jan. 11, 2024 | Cormier was reassigned to AHL Henderson on Thursday, per SinBin.vegas. - Cormier had an assist, a plus-1 rating, three shots and two blocks in two games with Vegas during his NHL stint. With Henderson this year, he's recorded a goal, 12 points and 20 PIM in 27 outings. | None |
| Jan. 6, 2024 | Cormier notched a power-play assist in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Islanders. - Cormier made his NHL debut Saturday, logging 19:46 of ice time. His first point was on Jack Eichel's tally just 31 seconds into the third period, which stretched the Golden Knights' lead to 4-1. With injuries mounting on the blue line, Cormier may have a chance to show his progress after a mediocre training camp. He was paired alongside Brayden McNabb in a top-four role Saturday, though Cormier may have to eventually settle for third-pairing minutes. | None |
| Jan. 4, 2024 | Cormier was recalled from AHL Henderson on Thursday. - Cormier is unlikely to get into an NHL game during this call-up and will likely be shipped back to the minors once Tobias Bjornfot, who was claimed off waivers, joins up with the Knights. With the Silver Knights, the 21-year-old blueliner tallied one goal and 11 assists in 27 minor-league contests. | None |
