|---|---|---|
| Sept. 16, 2026 | Zherenko signed a professional tryout agreement with Ottawa on Wednesday. - Zherenko spent the past four years in the minors with AHL Springfield. In 2025-26, he posted a 17-16-5 record and a .902 save percentage in 42 regular-season contests. With a crowded crease in front of him, including three netminders already under contract with the Senators, the best Zherenko can probably expect is to play to earn himself a two-way contract or a minor-league deal from AHL Belleville. | None |
| Dec. 7, 2025 | Zherenko stopped 45 of 46 shots in AHL Springfield's 3-1 win over Providence on Sunday. - Zherenko put up a huge effort to secure his fourth win of the season. He's at a 3.10 GAA and a .905 save percentage through 14 outings, his best numbers in three years. Still, the 24-year-old is unlikely to see NHL time unless one of Jordan Binnington or Joel Hofer gets hurt. | None |
| July 6, 2025 | Zherenko signed a one-year, $775,000 contract with the Blues on Sunday, according to PuckPedia. - Zherenko played exclusively with AHL Springfield in 2024-25, going 12-17-3 with a 3.44 GAA and an .897 save percentage over 32 appearances. The 2019 seventh-round selection has never suited up in an NHL game, and considering his new contract is a two-way deal, he shouldn't be expected to see playing time beyond the minors. | None |
| Oct. 6, 2024 | Zherenko was sent to AHL Springfield on Sunday. - Zherenko posted a 12-14-1 record with a 3.49 GAA and a .904 save percentage in 29 AHL contests during the 2023-24 regular season. He will likely spend most, if not all, of 2024-25 in the minors. | None |
| Oct. 5, 2024 | Zherenko will start the first two periods on the road against Chicago on Saturday, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports. - Zherenko has yet to play a regular-season NHL game. The 23-year-old was 12-24-1 with a 3.49 GAA and a .904 save percentage in 29 regular-season games with AHL Springfield in 2023-24. Joel Hofer is expected to play the third period against the Blackhawks on Saturday. | None |
| April 14, 2023 | Zherenko was assigned to AHL Springfield on Friday, Jim Thomas of The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports. - Zherenko was recalled Wednesday and was the backup to Jordan Binnington on Thursday versus Dallas. Zherenko was 10-8-3 with a 2.96 GAA and .918 save percentage with Springfield before his recall. | None |
| April 12, 2023 | Zherenko will be recalled from AHL Springfield to back up Jordan Binnington in Thursday's game versus the Stars, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports. - Zherenko will likely continue to wait for his NHL debut, as Jordan Binnington will start the Blues' season finale. Joel Hofer will be reassigned to Springfield. | None |
| April 9, 2023 | Zherenko was assigned to AHL Springfield on Sunday. - Zherenko had been backing Jordan Binnington following a season-ending injury to Thomas Greiss. The 22-year-old Zherenko may be back with the big club prior to Wednesday's contest against Dallas. | None |
