The 26-year-old Pirri, who scored eight goals with 10 assists in 60 games with the New York Rangers last season, will make $650,000 at the NHL level. In parts of nine seasons with four NHL teams, Pirri has 57 goals and 41 assists in 226 games.

He established career-highs in several categories in 2015-16, including games played, assists and points (29). He recorded a goal on five of his six shootout attempts (83.3 percent) and registered two game-deciding goals during the season.
June 27, 2016	The Ducks declined to make qualifying offers Monday to five players, including Pirri.	Anaheim acquired the speedy Pirri from Florida in February for a sixth-round pick, but an ankle injury and an upper-body injury limited him to nine games for the Ducks.
April 12, 2016	Key forwards Rickard Rakell and David Perron probably will play during the playoff series. Defenseman Kevin Bieksa should return soon, and Pirri also could be available, although he appears to be farther away.	With health in mind, coach Bruce Boudreau gave all of his players two days off following their return from their season finale in Washington last weekend. They return to practice Wednesday.
