Rinne, who hasn't played in an NHL game since Oct. 22, completed a two-game conditioning stint with the AHL's Milwaukee Admirals on Sunday.
Dec. 5, 2013 Rinne has been cleared by doctors to increase his physical activity, and now Nashville has to decide what's next for the two-time Vezina Trophy finalist. Rinne tied for second in the NHL with 43 appearances in the lockout-shortened season, tied for fourth with 42 starts and ranked sixth in minutes played (2,443:46). The general manager says Tim Thomas had the operation and won the Vezina Trophy with the Bruins taking the Stanley Cup the following year.
