Analysis

This was Fleury's third shutout of the season, which puts him just one behind his four from 2017-18. However, that's about the only positive in Fleury's stat line at the moment. Despite the three shutouts, he owns a .902 save percentage and 2.51 GAA. In his last five games, he's been Jekyll and Hyde, posting three games with a save percentage of .900 or worse supplemented with two shutouts. Owners

Jan. 21, 2018 Marc-Andre Fleury stopped 27 of 28 shots in the Golden Knights' 5-1 win over the Hurricanes on Sunday. Fleury is 8-2-2 with a 1.41 GAA, .953 save percentage and two shutouts in 12 starts since returning in mid-December from a concussion that kept him out for two months. He's also yielded one goal in three straight outings and four of five.

The victory pushed him to 10-3-2 on the season with a 1.72 GAA and .945 save percentage. A well-deserved First Star for Fleury, who was outstanding much like he's been nearly each time out since returning from a concussion in mid-December. Jan. 13, 2018 Marc-Andre Fleury stopped 27 of 30 shots in the Golden Knights' 3-2 overtime loss to the Oilers on Saturday. Fleury did not factor in the decision and remained at 9-2-2 on the season with a 1.83 GAA and .942 save percentage. After yielding just three goals total over his previous three starts, Fleury wasn't quite as sharp in this one as he couldn't protect a 2-1 third-period lead. The All-Star goaltender has still hasn't lost in regulation since returning from a concussion in mid-December, going 5-0-2 with a terrific 1.41 GAA and a .953 save percentage in seven outings.
Jan. 8, 2018 Marc-Andre Fleury stopped 28 of 29 shots in the Golden Knights' 2-1 win over the Rangers on Sunday. The victory pushed him to 9-2-1 on the season with a 1.73 GAA and .945 save percentage. Fleury has been particularly good of late, going 4-1-0 with a .967 save percentage over his last five starts.
Jan. 4, 2018 Marc-Andre Fleury stopped 37 of 39 shots in the Golden Knights' 2-1 loss to the Blues on Thursday. The defeat dropped him to 8-2-1 on the season with a 1.80 GAA and .944 save percentage. Fleury had a five-start win streak snapped despite yielding two goals or less for the fourth straight time, a run in which he's posted a pair of shutouts. The two-time All-Star continues to be excellent since returning from a concussion, having recorded a 1.41 GAA and a .955 save percentage in seven starts following the comeback.
Jan. 3, 2018 Marc-Andre Fleury stopped all 29 shots he faced in the Golden Knights' 3-0 win over the Predators on Tuesday for his second shutout of the year. The victory pushed him to 8-1-1 on the season with a 1.77 GAA and .943 save percentage. Fleury has been outstanding since returning from his concussion, posting a 1.48 GAA and .949 save percentage in winning his last four starts. Vegas hosts the Maple Leafs on New Year's Eve, and Fleury is 5-1-1 with a 1.88 GAA and .934 save percentage in his last seven starts against Toronto.
Dec. 24, 2017 Marc-Andre Fleury stopped all 26 shots he faced in the Golden Knights' 3-0 win over the Capitals on Saturday for his first shutout of the year. The victory pushed him to 6-1-1 on the season with a 1.97 GAA and .938 save percentage. Fleury notched his first shutout in Vegas - and 45th of his career - in just his fourth start after missing two months because of a concussion. He's allowed a combined six goals since returning.
Dec. 19, 2017 Fleury stopped 35 shots, including 15 in the third period, to help the Golden Knights earn a 4-3 victory over red-hot Tampa Bay on Tuesday. Since returning from a concussion that sidelined him two months, Fleury has gone 2-0-1 with a strong 1.95 goals-against average and .940 save percentage in three starts. The three-time Stanley Cup champion is clearly safe to insert back into lineups for those who haven't done so already.
Dec. 15, 2017 Fleury stopped 24 shots against his former team as the Vegas Golden Knights beat the Pittsburgh Penguins 2-1. It was the first meeting between the defending Stanley Cup champions and Vegas, which acquired Fleury from Pittsburgh during the NHL expansion draft on June 21. Fleury, who returned to the ice Tuesday and stopped 35 of 37 shots in a loss to Carolina after missing 25 games, wasted no time in reminding Pittsburgh what it let get away.
Dec. 12, 2017 Fleury was sharp in his first start in two months, turning aside 35 shots in the Knights' 3-2 shootout loss to Carolina on Tuesday. The high-priced goaltender was the main reason why the Knights were able to pick up a point on this night and proved he's over the concussion that sidelined him for so long. Fleury has now allowed two goals or less in four of his five starts in a Vegas jersey and should get plenty more going forward as long as he can remain healthy.
Oct. 15, 2017 Fleury (concussion) has been taken off injured reserve. With Oscar Dansk also injured, Malcolm Subban and Maxime Lagace have taken over in net.
Oct. 11, 2017 Fleury made 31 saves and the Golden Knights remained unbeaten three games into their inaugural season with a 5-2 victory over the Arizona Coyotes in their home opener. Fleury has stared Vegas' first three games, posting a 1.32 GAA and 0.963 save percentage. The Golden Knights next play Friday against the Red Wings, and the former Penguins netminder is 5-2-0 with a 3.37 GAA in his last seven starts versus Detroit.
Oct. 8, 2017 Fleury stopped 27 shots in Saturday's 2-1 overtime win over the Coyotes. Fleury - the former Pittsburgh Penguins netminder - was strong again as he started for the second successive night, making 27 saves, and now has turned aside 72 of 74 shots this season.
Oct. 6, 2017 Fleury's Golden Knights debut couldn't have gone much better as he stopped 45 of 46 shots Friday in a 2-1 win at Dallas. This was Fleury's first game in an uniform other than one of the Pittsburgh Penguins, the team he won 375 games with and three Stanley Cups.
May 18, 2017 Fleury was pulled in the first period Wednesday after allowing four goals on nine shots in a 5-1 loss at Ottawa as the Penguins fell into a 2-1 hole in the Eastern Conference finals. Matt Murray replaced Fleury at 12:42 of the first period and went on to stop 19 shots. Murray, who backstopped Pittsburgh to the Stanley Cup last spring, saw his first playoff action after getting injured in warmups before the first game of round one. Penguins coach Mike Sullivan gave no indication on which goalie he would start in Game 4. Fleury had allowed just two goals in the first two games of the series, including a Game 2 shutout.
May 16, 2017 Fleury stopped 23 shots in a 1-0 win over the Sens in Game 2 on Monday. This is his second shutout of the playoffs and 10th of his postseason career. Fleury's 62nd playoff win moved him ahead of Henrik Lundqvist for the most by an active goaltender, heady territory for a guy who lost his starting job to Matt Murray during the course of the season. Now Fleury is the main reason the Penguins are three wins from a return trip to the Cup finals.
May 11, 2017 Fleury made 29 saves and carried the Penguins to a 2-0 Game 7 win in Washington on Wednesday night. A year after being benched for Matt Murray in the playoffs, Fleury may very well be the Conn Smythe Trophy front-runner through two rounds.
May 4, 2017 Fleury made 36 saves in the Penguins' 3-2 win over Washington in Game 4 on Wednesday. Fleury played out of his mind once again, making great save after great save. He's easily the Conn Smythe Trophy frontrunner just a year after being benched for Matt Murray.
April 28, 2017 Fleury was strong in net Thursday with 33 saves as the Penguins beat the Capitals 3-2 to open the teams' second-round series. Fleury had 15 saves in the third period, including a flurry of four with 3 minutes left long after he had lost his stick. ''I couldn't see the puck for a little while there, I had no stick, so I was trying to make some stops,'' Fleury said. ''It was fun. ... Try to rise up to the challenge and try to keep the team in the game. Saving that lead, when you can do it, it's a good feeling.'' He has a .934 save percentage in this postseason.
April 21, 2017 Fleury capped a strong opening-round series with a superb 49-save effort in Thursday's Game 5 win over Columbus. Matt Murray could be ready to return from his lower-body injury for the next round, though it would be tough for Pens coach Mike Sullivan to demote Fleury after the veteran keeper recorded a 2.52 GAA and a .933 save percentage against the Blue Jackets. Either way, Pittsburgh appears in good shape between the pipes as it continues its quest for a second straight Stanley Cup.
April 19, 2017 Fleury stopped 29 of 34 shots in Tuesday's 5-4 loss to the Blue Jackets as the Penguins missed a chance to complete a first-round sweep. Fleury allowed at least four goals for the second straight start after surrendering only one in each of the series' first two games. Matt Murray remains out with a lower-body injury sustained before Game 1. It seemed unlikely he would return for this series after Fleury's terrific start, but if healthy enough, it now would seem there's a chance Murray gets back in net.
April 15, 2017 Fleury made 39 saves in the Penguins' 4-1 win over the Blue Jackets on Friday. Who saw this coming? An afterthought after last year's playoff run, Fleury has filled in for the injured Matt Murray splendidly, making 70 saves on 72 shots in two playoff games.
March 30, 2017 Fleury surrendered five goals - four in the first period - on 36 shots in Wednesday's loss to Chicago. The poor start resulted in the veteran's third loss in four starts, with Fleury allowing three or more goals in each of those defeats. Matt Murray isn't playing particularly well right now either, so the two could continue to work in a tandem until one gets hot.

The Penguins host the Capitals on Monday.

Jan. 9, 2017 Fleury collected his fifth straight win with a 28-save effort in Pittsburgh's 6-2 victory over Tampa Bay on Sunday. Matt Murray is nearing a return from a lower-body injury, but Fleury will be tough to take out of the net with the way he's played the past few weeks. Dec. 31, 2016 Fleury helped the Penguins to Saturday's 4-3 overtime win over Montreal by coming up with 37 saves. Fleury, who led the Penguins to a Stanley Cup in 2009, lost his starting job to Matt Murray after sustaining the second of two concussions late in the regular season last spring. That opened the door for the 22-year-old Murray to backstop the Penguins to their fourth Stanley Cup in franchise history. Murray, however, broke his hand during the World Cup of Hockey and Fleury has stepped up in his absence, stopping 73 of 77 shots in two wins.
Oct. 14, 2016 Fleury was excellent in Thursday's season-opening win over Washington, turning aside 39 of 41 shots. Coach Mike Sullivan made the decision Tuesday, with the Penguins facing elimination for the first time this postseason. Tampa Bay holds a 3-2 series lead and is seeking to reach the Stanley Cup Final for the second straight year. Murray started the first four games of the series. Fleury replaced him during the third period of Game 4, then started and allowed four goals in a 4-3 overtime loss in Game 5. Before Game 5, Fleury had not started a game since March 31, when he suffered a concussion.
May 22, 2016 Fleury will return to the Penguins' crease for Sunday's Game 5 of the Eastern Conference finals. The veteran netminder still has a 7-7-1 record, but his overall numbers so far are reminiscent of his final season in Pittsburgh rather than last season's epic run for Vegas. Fleury was a little shaky in his last start Thursday against the Senators, surrendering three goals on 30 shots, but he ultimately did enough to pick up his seventh victory of the campaign. The veteran netminder will look to keep rolling and secure a second straight win in a road matchup with a Canadiens club that's averaging 3.22 goals per game at home this season, 14th in the NHL.

2018-11-09 analysis Fleury gave up just two goals on 20 shots to Toronto on Tuesday, but was left hanging by his offense and was saddled with his sixth loss of the season. While his numbers may not be as good as the career bests he set last year (a 2.24 GAA and .927 save percentage), the Flower should still be able to keep his team in games and steal a win from time to time. Fleury hasn't played great this season, but he's recently improved his game over where it was for the most part. In his past three contests, he's posted a .946 save percentage, which will more than satisfy his owners. Plus, Toronto and Ottawa aren't easy matchups for any netminder, so it's OK to hold on to Fleury and expect better things moving forward.

2018-11-07 analysis Fleury was unbeatable in his last appearance Saturday against Carolina, stopping all 34 shots en route to an impressive 3-0 shutout victory. The 33-year-old netminder will look to stay sharp and pick up his seventh win of the season in a road matchup with a Toronto team that's 3-5-0 at home this season. Fleury's record, following Tuesday's loss, stands at 6-6-1 with a 2.47 goals-against-average and a .901 save percentage. The Golden Knights' primary netminder, to this point, has been unable to duplicate last season's success. 2018-11-04 analysis Fleury surrendered five goals on 26 shots in a loss to the Blues on Thursday, but Golden Knights coach Gerard Gallant said afterward that his entire team needs to improve and not just Fleury, who owns a 5-5-1 record, 2.74 GAA and .888 save percentage through 11 games. Coming into Saturday, he was just 5-5-1 with a .888 save percentage and 2.74 GAA. It might be tough for Fleury to build off this performance, though, as the Golden Knights are headed on a four-game road trip that will include the Maple Leafs and Bruins. Still, owners should start Fleury just in case this is

2018-11-02 analysis The Flower, to this point, has posted a better save percentage in road games (.911) compared to home contests (.886) so the location of the game is oddly favorable to the Vegas netminder. However, he'll be in a tough spot Thursday, facing a Blues team averaging 3.60 goals per game in 2018-19. Fleury continues to be a frustrating player to own in fantasy if for no other reason than his inconsistent play. He's now 5-5-1 with a 2.74 GAA and .888 save percentage, but there's a shutout baked into this numbers as well as four more outings of Flower posting a .923 save mark or better. 2018-10-29 analysis For the most part, Fleury has been strong in the blue paint this year, and he's posted a .942 save percentage and 1.39 GAA in his last five starts. Although the offensive support in front of him has been flaky at times, averaging just 2.1 goals per game, it's a favorable matchup against the Senators, who rank 28th in the league with 3.9 goals against per contest. Fleury's counterpart Craig Anderson stood on his head and stopped 49 of 53 shots at the other end of the ice, but Flower prevailed thanks to a successful penalty shot from Jonathan Marchessault. This was the first win in three games for Vegas' top netminder, who was resolute despite yielding the game's first two goals as well as the first tally in the third frame.
2018-10-29 update Fleury will get the home start versus the Senators on Sunday, David Schoen of the Las Vegas Review Journal reports. Fleury allowed three goals on 22 shots Sunday, but that was good enough for a 4-3 overtime home win over the Senators.

2018-10-27 analysis Fleury has been rock solid of late, as he is 3-0-1 in his previous four outings with a 0.98 GAA and .959 save percentage. Whether the Flower can keep that up against a Lightning team which is averaging 3.50 goals per game remains to be seen. If the Golden Knights can recapture some of the magic from their 2017-18 campaign, it will likely be on strength of Fleury's performances. This broke a streak of Fleury not suffering a regulation loss in four straight games. That stretch helped his numbers, but even still, Fleury is off to a so-so start at 4-4-1 with a .905 save percentage. The silver lining is his GAA is respectable at 2.45, but overall, Fleury has been a disappointment through the first three weeks.

2018-10-25 analysis A poor start to the season has Fleury behind the 8-ball in most categories, but in his last four games, he hasn't lost in regulation, and he owns a .959 save percentage with a shutout. And despite the slow start, Fleury owns a 2.36 GAA. He and the Golden Knights appear to be back on track, giving him a great opportunity to produce strong fantasy numbers.
2018-10-25 update Fleury allowed two goals on 26 shots in a 3-2 shootout loss to the Canucks on Wednesday.
2018-10-24 analysis The 33-year-old netminder will be going for his fourth straight win Wednesday against a hungry Canucks squad. Fleury is 3-0 with a shutout in his last three starts and has allowed just two goals over that span.
2018-10-24 update Fleury will start Wednesday's game against Vancouver, David Schoen of the Las Vegas Review Journal reports.
2018-10-21 analysis Fleury has been on a roll lately, picking up back-to-back victories over the Flyers and Sabres while posting a superb 1.00 GAA and .981 save percentage over that span. The veteran netminder will look to stay sharp and secure his fourth win of the campaign in a home matchup with a Ducks team that's only averaging 2.86 goals per game this season, 20th in the NHL. "The Flower" has experienced an up and down career, but one constant owners have been able to count on is his contribution in the wins category. Since 2006-07, Fleury has won at least 30 games in a season eight times. Last season, he finished with 29, but that was because of injuries, as he did post career-bests in the save percentage and GAA categories. If he can stay healthy in 2018-19, Fleury i

2018-10-17 analysis Fleury has been off his game of late, surrendering four or more goals in three of his last four starts. However, he did post a shutout his last time out and perhaps a matchup with a Buffalo squad averaging just 2.20 goals per game will provide more cure for his early-season woes. After five straight road games out east to begin the campaign, the Golden Knights don't leave the friendly confines of Fleury had a 26-save shutout versus the Flyers, and he was 37 seconds from another until Vladimir Sobotka scored for the Sabres with an extra attacker. 2018-10-13 analysis Fleury is off to an inauspicious start to the season. He's 1-3-0 with a 3.94 GAA and .846 save percentage. Shea Theodore -- one of Vegas' top defensemen -- currently owns a minus-5 rating through five pointless outings, so it will be up to guys like him to step up and start supporting Flower. 2018-10-11 analysis The Stanley Cup rematch went about as well for the Knights as it did the first time around, with two of the four goals Fleury allowed coming while Vegas was short-handed. The 33-year-old has had a rough start to 2018-19, winning just one of four starts and coughing up at least four goals in each of the losses, but he'll likely get a night off to clear his head when the team travels to Pittsburgh o

2018-10-09 analysis Fleury had a rough outing in his last start Monday against the Sabres, allowing four goals on 17 shots en route to a 4-2 loss. The veteran goaltender will look to shake off that poor performance and pick up his second victory of the campaign in a tough road matchup with a Capitals club that has already potted 13 goals through its first two games of the season.
2018-10-09 update Fleury will guard the cage in Wednesday's road matchup with the Capitals, Stephen Whyno of the Associated Press reports.
2018-10-08 analysis The Golden Knights are heading into their second contest of a five-game road trip, in which Fleury will likely make all but one of the starts in goal. The Flower bounced back from a disappointing performance Opening Night versus the Flyers -- in which he was yanked from the net after giving up five goals -- with a 29-save, one-goal allowed outing against Minnesota on Saturday. It's the second time in three games that Fleury allowed four or more goals on less than 20 shots. He steered away 29 of 30 shots in his other outing to sport an ugly .841 save percentage in that span. That kind of inconsistency makes Fleury a tough play in daily fantasy settings at this time. Still, with Malcolm Subban as his backup, expect Fleury to remain in the blue paint for a majority of the

2018-10-07 analysis Fleury coughed up five goals on 16 shots in Thursday's season opener against the Flyers before getting the heave-ho in favor of Malcom Subban to start the second half. He'll try to right the ship against a Wild team that suffered a 4-1 loss to the Avalanche in their own road opener that same night. Fleury bounced back in brilliant fashion from his Opening Night dud against the Flyers in which he surrendered five goals on 16 shots and was chased him from the net. Vegas has only scored four goals through the first two games after averaging 3.27 goals per contest in its inaugural season, but it is way too early to draw conclusions in that regard.

2018-10-05 analysis Fleury will face off against his old foes the Flyers -- against whom he is 28-18-2 in his career with a 2.87 GAA. Injuries limited the Flower to just 46 games last season, but he still managed to set career bests in GAA (2.24) and save percentage (.927). Philadelphia's forwards know Fleury well from his time with the Penguins, and they were able to get the Flower to wilt with five goals in the game's first 30:11. Malcolm Subban came in for the game's second half and stopped all nine shots he faced. While this was about as bad as it gets for an Opening Night start, it's much too soon to write Fleury off after he posted a 2.24 GAA and .927 save perc
