Feb. 8, 2016 Scrivens finished with 34 saves and stopped all five Carolina players in the shootout, lifting the Canadiens to a 2-1 victory over the Hurricanes on Sunday. Scrivens last shutout was on Feb. 18, a 3-0 victory at Florida as a member of the Maple Leafs. "You can't give enough credit to the guys in front," he said.
June 23, 2013 The Toronto Leafs have acquired goaltender Jonathan Bernier from the Los Angeles Kings. The Leafs gave up forward Matt Frattin, Scrivens and their second-round pick in the 2014 or 2015 NHL entry draft. The 24-year-old Bernier played in 14 regular-season games for the Kings in 2012-13 as Jonathan Quick's backup. He wanted to play more, prompting the trade. Bernier's record was 9-3-1. He had a goals-against average of 1.88 and a save percentage of .922.

Scrivens could see plenty more action with Reimer expected to miss at least a week due to a strained ligament in his left knee. He's 2-2-0 with a 2.56 goals-against average in five games this season and has given up two goals or fewer in four of those contests.
Sept. 12, 2012 The Toronto Maple Leafs have signed goaltender Ben Scrivens to a two-year contract worth $1.25 million. Scrivens made his NHL debut, recorded his first win and stopped 38 shots in the Leafs' 4-1 victory on Nov. 3 at Columbus. He played 12 games for the Leafs, going 4-5-2 with a 3.13 goals against average and a .903 save percentage. Scrivens played most of last season in the American Hockey League, where he helped the Toronto Marlies reach the Calder Cup final. In 39 regular-season games with the Marlies, Scrivens was 22-15-1, with four shutouts, an AHL-best 2.04 GAA.
April 1, 2012 Scrivens made 29 saves as the Toronto Maple Leafs ended a team-record 11-game home losing streak with a 4-3 victory over the Buffalo Sabres on Saturday night. Scrivens won a night after making 33 saves in the Toronto Marlies' 5-4 overtime victory over Rochester in the American Hockey League.
Nov. 11, 2011 Scrivens stopped 38 shots in Thursday's 3-2 shootout win over the Blues. Scrivens bounced back nicely after recording a 7.19 GAA and a .667 save percentage in his previous two games.
Nov. 4, 2011 Scrivens stopped 38 shots in his NHL debut, Thursday's 4-1 win over Columbus. Scrivens has played 38 minor league games with the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League since spending four seasons in net at Cornell. He was recalled from the Marlies on Oct. 27 to back up Gustavsson while James Reimer recovers from an undisclosed injury.
