Marie of the Ontario Hockey League, where he led the team in scoring with career highs in all offensive categories -- 26 goals, 48 assists and 74 points -- while playing in all 68 games. He was named team captain last season and recorded six goals and four assists in 12 OHL playoff games. Speers was selected in the third round (67th overall) by the Devils in the 2015 NHL draft.
