April 1, 2016 The Philadelphia Flyers say they're signing Emery to a contract for the remainder of the season, filling the void left by injured backup Michal Neuvirth. The 33-year-old Emery joined the Flyers on a professional tryout agreement earlier in the week. Because he signed after the trade deadline, he's not eligible to play in the playoffs. He is a veteran of 287 NHL games and went 10-11-7 with a 3.06 goals-against average and .894 save percentage as the Flyers' backup last season. He bounced around the minors and Europe this season.
April 5, 2015 Emery finished with 24 saves Saturday. Emery won't start Sunday against the Pens.

Nov. 3, 2013 Emery stopped all 14 shots he faced in Saturday's 1-0 win at New Jersey. Emery had allowed four goals in each of his first three games before stepping up against the Devils. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come.
July 5, 2013 The Philadelphia Flyers and Ray Emery have agreed to a $1.65 million, one-year contract. Emery will compete with Steve Mason for the starting spot. Emery played for the Flyers in 2009-10 and spent the last two seasons with the Chicago Blackhawks. He went 17-1with a 1.94 goals-against average for the Stanley Cup champion Blackhawks in 2012.
April 24, 2013 Chicago Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville says forward Dave Bolland and goalie Ray Emery will be available for Game 1 of the Western Conference semifinals. He spent last season with the Ducks, going 7-2-0 during the regular season with a 2.28 goals against average in 10 games. He also appeared in six postseason games with Anaheim. Chicago opens the season at Dallas on Friday.
