The Wild host the Rangers on Thursday. Stoll was waived on Monday after totaling just one goal and two assists in 29 games with the Rangers. He failed to record a point in his last 18 games. The 13-season veteran won two Stanley Cup titles with the Los Angeles Kings before signing with the Rangers as a free agent last summer. The 33-year-old Stoll has 141 goals, 241 assists and 602 penalty minutes in 821 career NHL games, with a plus-6 rating and a faceoff winning percentage of 55.4.
Dec. 14, 2015 The Rangers have placed Stoll on waivers. The 13-year veteran and two-time Stanley Cup champion with Los Angeles was a healthy scratch in Saturday's game at Calgary. Stoll has just one goal and two assists in 29 games this season, his first with New York.

June 22, 2015 Stoll has been charged with felony cocaine possession stemming from his April 17 arrest at a Las Vegas Strip pool. The Clark County district attorney's office charged 32-year-old Stoll on Monday with one count of possession of a controlled substance. Security guards at MGM Grand's Wet Republic pool complex found what police believed to be 3.3 grams of cocaine and several capsules of ecstasy in Stoll's pocket during a routine search. District Attorney Steven Wolfson wouldn't comment on why the charge only included cocaine possession. Stoll's attorney, David Chesnoff, says he has had discussions with Wolfson and hopes the case will be resolved shortly. If convicted, the charge carries the possibility of up to four years in prison or probation if it's a first offense.

The 32-year-old Stoll has a July 1 court date in Las Vegas. A police report made public says Stoll acknowledged to police that the 3.3 grams of powder in two pink plastic bags was cocaine.
