* Pool Name Mandatory: This is the primary identification for your pool, you will provide this to all your poolies so they can access their standings daily.

You can use any combination of letters and numbers. No special characters or spaces. This name is NOT case sensitive.

We automatically check for availability as you type as each pool name must be unique within the season.

Hint: There is no need to add the season as part of your pool name - we display the season automatically.

NOTE: The pool name CANNOT be changed after the pool has been created.
* Admin Email Mandatory
We email each admin their account details. We also use this to identify the pool as yours and use it for lost password retrieval. If you opt-in for our email you will also receive periodic reminders about our games and special promos.
* Admin Password Mandatory
This is the administrator password for your pool. Do not give this password to anyone. There is a password retrieval link that will email the current password to the admin email address.

You can change this password at any time.
* Guest Password Mandatory
Provide this password to all your poolies (along with your Pool Name) so they can access their standings daily. We highly recommend that you use all lower case letters.

About pool types
All pool types are identical from the Officepools software perspective. The differences are largely visual and are mainly associated with how picks are entered and whether they are unique or not.

For example, standard Draft Pools with unique player selections cannot support player selections through email responses as there is no way to enforce a specific draft order. To allow online picks, the online Draftroom manages the draft order and forces unique selections.

Open Pools allow players to be selected multiple times. With no draft order to worry about these are perfect for teams to be created and picks made via email responses.

Box Pools with their template driven style, like Open Pools, are also perfect for teams to be created and picks made via email responses.
* Players per Team Mandatory Indicate the number of players that each team will select for their active roster. This can be increased at any time. However, you cannot make it smaller than the maximum number of picks on any one team. You will need to remove picks from active rosters if you want to reduce this number.

We have created a few templates for those of you wishing to start box pools. Preview the templates we have provided for you - either use the Preview link or view it as a PDF. Alternatively, you can choose the Build your own option.

After your pool is created you can edit all template settings using the Box Pool Builder available in the Admin console.

You can also discard your initial template and re-select another. CAUTION: Make all your modifications and decide on the final template BEFORE you send out any email invitations! We have more information on the Tools page. To see this detail click the Help link.
