Pool Start / End Dates

Normal Setting: Normally, the Pool Start Date and Pool End Date should be set to the first and last days of the season - when your cursor is in the date fields in the administrator login, the right side of the screen will show the season start/end dates.

Time Travel: The most common reason to change the Pool End Date is to Time Travel - to backdate trades that were missed or entered incorrectly. See Help section Making Trades for more information on Time Travel. 

Retrieving Past Standings: You can change the Pool End Date to a date past in order to see the pool standings as of that date - for example if you have weekly or monthly winners and you need to see who exactly was the winner on a given period. Once you print the pool standings as of that date, simply restore the original Pool End Date.

Changing your Pool Start Date: You can start a new pool by changing your pool start date - if it's changed to a date in the future, your pool will zero out and start collecting points when the future date arrives. Be sure to print your standings before you do this! If your pool has trades, you will be warned that all trades will be removed when you change the pool start date - in this case, be sure to print your pool with the Td+ tab activated (guest login) to get a printout of all your trades before proceeding - the removed trades are not recoverable!
