Awarding Custom Points

When to award custom points: If your pool's scoring system is not handled completely by the standard officepools.com scoring options, you can award custom points to make up the difference. 

When NOT to award custom points: DO NOT award custom points to fix stats errors in your pool because the next officepools.com reconciliation will repair any stats errors that exist - see Help section Stats Errors / Reconciliations for more information.

Keeper Pools: If you have a keeper pool whereby points/leads are carried over from season to season, you can award custom points reflecting poolie's prior season totals (or you can just award all poolies the lead they have over the last place poolie, and award the last place poolie zero)

How to award custom points: Follow the steps below to award custom points to any team in your pool

	1. Login as Pool Administrator		2. Click on any Custom Points figure		3. Enter the Custom Points		4. View custom points in guest screen
	Log in with your Pool ID and your Administrator Password (the password you typed twice for confirmation when creating your pool). Every pool has two passwords - one you hand out to your poolies to enable them to view standings (commonly known as the guest password) and another that only the pool administrator has (commonly known as the administrator password) which, when used on login, opens the administrator screen. If you forgot your administrator password then close this window and click the Forgot Administrator Password help section.		You can enter custom points for the poolie's Week, Month, or Total figure.		The custom points will be added directly to the poolies Week, Month, or Total figure - for example if the poolie has 250 points total and you enter a custom points figure of 10, their total will immediately change to 260
