The OfficePools Draftroom is a built-in tool that allows you to run your Premier League draft live and online. Below are the full steps to get started and run your draft smoothly.

Part 1: Pre-Draft Setup

1. Set Your Draftroom Options

Go to Admin > Roster > Draftroom Options:

• Set the scheduled draft date and time
  

• Choose Serpentine Draft if desired (snake-style order)
  

• Set a visual timer (not enforced, Admins control the flow)
  

• DO NOT check "Open Draftroom" until all teams are ready (see step 2)
  

Tip: The Draftroom won't function properly unless all teams have connected email addresses.

2. Ensure Poolies Are Properly Set Up

To participate, every poolie must:

• Have an OfficePools account
  

• Use the same email address in their team details
  

You can do this in two ways:

• Send pool invites (they'll create accounts during signup) – see invite guide
  

• Create the teams yourself, and have poolies log in with matching emails

3. Set the Draft Order

Still in Admin > Roster:

• Use the “Randomize” button or enter the order manually
  

• Click Save when finished
  

Once steps 1–3 are complete AND you’ve checked "Open Draftroom", your Draftroom is ready to launch.

Part 2: Running the Draftroom

1. Access the Draftroom

Click the Draftroom icon at the top of your pool interface.

2. Start the Draft

• Once all teams are showing as “online”, click Start to begin

• Poolies will take turns making picks live in the interface

3. Managing Absent Poolies

If someone can’t make the draft, you have several options:

• AutoPick from Watchlist (poolie must set this up beforehand)

• Manually pause the draft and make the pick as Admin

• AutoPick best available (check the box under the team name)

• Use any combination of the above as needed

4. Finish and Finalize the Draft

After the final pick:

• You’ll see a “Mark it complete” prompt

• Click it and check the box: “The draft has been completed”

• Then click “Complete Draft”
  

⚠️ This final step is essential to begin your season and ensures traded draft picks apply to the following season.
