What Does Premier League pools use for Salary Cap?

In EPL Fantasy Pools on OfficePools, the Salary Cap feature uses official real-world Premier League salaries, expressed in pounds (£). These figures reflect the actual annual wages paid to players by their clubs for the current season.

Key Details:

 

  • Only the Actual Salary is used.

    • There is no “Cap Hit” option in Premier League pools.

    • Salaries are based on verified public sources and are displayed in millions of pounds (e.g., £12.5M).

  • The Salary Cap sets a hard limit on how much each team can spend when selecting players.

    • Example: If the cap is set at £100.0M, a team’s total combined player salaries (including reserves, if enabled) cannot exceed that amount.

  • Admins can also choose whether the cap applies to:

    • Active players only, or the entire roster (Active + Reserve players), by enabling the “Apply Cap to entire team” option in settings.
