If you'd like to create a custom player selection format instead of using a preset, you can build your own Box Pool template during setup.

🛠 Important: On Step 1 of the Setup Wizard, make sure to select “Custom” under Template Type.

Steps to Build Your Custom Template:

1. Enter the Template Editor
   After selecting "Custom" in Step 1, you'll access the Template Editor during the setup process.
   
   

2. Click "Add Box"
   Create as many boxes as you want. Each box will group a set of players (e.g., forwards, midfielders).
   
   

3. Add Players to Each Box
   Inside each box, click "Add Choice" to enter the players you want available for selection.
   
   

• ⚠️ Each player can only appear in one box.
  
  

4. Customize Box Settings
   For each box:
   
   

• Name the Box (e.g., “Top Forwards”, “Midfield Generals”)
  

• Pick Count: Enter how many players poolies must select from this box (typically 1)
  

• Scoring: Leave it as Default or assign a specific scoring type if needed (e.g., Custom, Rookie, Defender)
  
  

5. Save Your Template
   
   

• If you're still in the Setup Wizard, click “Save & Continue” to move to the next step.
  

• If you're editing the template later from the Admin > Template Editor, click “Save Boxes” instead.

Once saved, your poolies will be able to select players using your custom groupings when they join the pool.
